Longtime Edmonton Padres leader Liam Bilodeau Minty realized his goal of reaching college baseball earlier this fall when he joined the Prairie Baseball Academy program in Lethbridge. Liam had a standout season on the mound with the Padres 18U AAA team this past summer and will focus as a pitcher at PBA.

“Down here at PBA I started as a two-way (player) at third base and pitching but now I’m a pitcher only,” said Bilodeau Minty by text.  “I talked with the coaches and they said that as a PO, if I worked on just that, that’s where I could go furthest.”

In addition to pursuing his baseball goals in Lethbridge, Liam is also taking the Criminal Justice program at Lethbridge College with plans to pursue a career as a police officer.
