Padres Junior AAA Hosts Provincials

The Edmonton Padres Junior AAA team hosted Provincials over the August long weekend in its inaugural season.  Although the host team came up just short of advancing to the championship game, the tournament overall was a great success to finish a strong first year of Junior AAA baseball for the club.

Opening ceremonies featured Wally Footz throwing out the ceremonial first pitch on the field named in his honour.  Wally Footz Field was in immaculate condition to host the Provincial championship.
