Thomas Stone to Represent Alberta, Padres at 2020 North American Indigenous Games
Edmonton Padres 18U AA player Thomas Stone has been selected to play for the U17 Team Alberta squad that will compete in the 2020 North American Indigenous Games. Thomas is a true utility player with ability to contribute as a pitcher, catcher, third baseman and outfielder.
The 2020 North American Indigenous Games will be taking place in Halifax from July 12 to 18, 2020. According to the Government of Canada’s Canadian Heritage web page, the NAIG were founded on the principles of promoting healthy lifestyles, building self-image and promoting Indigenous role models through sport and culture.
